Among romantic styles, The Half Quartet perform accessible and entertaining music, largely in a Jazzy Style
that is unique, fun and also evocative, to a high standard; The Half Quartet can perform at various aspects of your wedding.Based in the South West, The Half Quartet has a substantial track record of performing for weddings in
Devon & Cornwall, amongst a plethora of public performances too.Potential choices of popular sections of the wedding you may like to consider:
1 After the ceremony and before the wedding breakfast
2 During the ceremony (before, during & shortly after)
3 During the meal (wedding breakfast)or of course a combination of the above.
As a duo, the sound is quite full and textured and is ideal for creating a memorable atmosphere.
If preferred the duo may also expand to a trio or quartet. This provides a slightly livelier sound which may suit your taste.The length of the performance is set at two hours, but of course we can negotiate other alternative durations;
this will also include breaks and all equipment is provided.We have performed regularly in many, if not most, of the venues in Devon and Cornwall and therefore familiar with the procedures for each place.
We have good relationships with the venue staff and can therefore advise on the appropriate practice and ideas for your wedding and of course the music choice for the ceremony.
On the day we arrive between 30-60 minutes before agreed start time.
We wear dress smartly in suited attire.
We require watering and feeding too
The performance is subject to contract.
